What is DigiGrids? +

DigiGrids is a platform for amateur radio operators to count and track FT8 and FT4 QSOs, earn digital grid awards (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Elite), and monitor progress via ADIF uploads.

Other Digital Modes will have their own awards in due course.

What file format should I upload? +

Upload standard .adi or .adif files from your logging software (WSJT-X, Log4OM, etc.). Your callsign must appear in the <STATION_CALLSIGN> field. These files must be exported from logging software or LOTW but if you download from LOTW the 'Include QSL details' must be checked in the download box.

What if my adi file contains other modes such as ssb or cw qso's? +

No problem. These are filtered out when you upload the adi file.

Which QSOs are counted? +

Only QSOs with:

  • Valid 4-character grid (e.g., NK99)
  • Mode: FT8, FT4, or MFSK
  • Band: 160m to 6m
  • Your callsign in the log

Some grids require admin verification and are excluded from the count until verified.

How is “MultiBand” calculated? +

MultiBand is the total sum of all grids worked across all bands. Working NK99 on both 20m and 40m counts as 2 towards MultiBand.

"What does 'Invalid Data' mean when I upload an ADI file?" +

Common reasons:

  • If all is well the counts will change as expected however some QSO's may contain invalid data:
  • Invalid data is where an uploaded adi file has qso's with data that is not correct.
  • such as invalid grids, bands, or modes for example.
  • In addition some qso's may be pending admin approval
Can I add the cerificate image to my website or qrz.com etc. +

If the websites allow it then of course. You may need to resize the image of the certificate first. Or you can use the embed code for a badge found on your My Awards page linked from your dashboard when logged in.

Can I claim an award if I’m close? +

No. You must meet or exceed the required field count (e.g., 324 for Elite). No partial credit.

How do I verify a certificate? +

Scan the QR code on the certificate to view the public record.

Can I delete my account? +

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Delete Account. All personal data is permanently removed. Certificates remain public for verification.

I found an error — who do I contact? +

Email support@digigrids.net with your callsign, issue description, and (if needed) a problematic ADIF file.

Can you send me a hard copy of my certificate? +

We can do that but it will incur a cost. It would be cheaper and easier for you to print either the png image or pdf document we supply digitally. If you want us to send you a certificate which is printed on good quality paper contact us.

Can I retrieve my certificate image or pdf months after I was awarded? +

Yes, as long as your account with us is still active. You will find download links to the certificates from your dashboard at the My Awards page link if yiu are logged in.

Who runs DigiGrids? +

DigiGrids is an independent, volunteer-run project for the global amateur radio community. No affiliation with ARRL, RSGB, or any regulatory body.
